Well, like everyone else in the US, the total solar eclipse captivated our attention Monday morning! We just got a partial eclipse in our neck of the woods (88%) but still, how awesome! We thankfully had glasses but even without, the show could be enjoyed via the crescent-shaped sun spots coming through the trees.
Now Katie and I are all excited to experience the full eclipse next time! Popular Mechanics wrote an article just for us outlining the path of totality for the next one in 2024. National Parks in its path? Hot Springs and Cuyahoga Valley. And it just so happens that we have Cuyahoga Valley (as well as Shenandoah and DC) planned for that spring! Since Cuyahoga Valley is virtually in Cleveland we may seek out a little more solitude for the eclipse but regardless, we will be working this into the trip plans.
